Dr. Dinesh Jain did his MBBS (1989) and Masters in Surgery from Pune’s prestigious B. J. Medical College with distinction, accomplishing 2nd position in University of Pune in 1993.

He has a special interest in Laparoscopic surgery and has been trained in various laparoscopic procedures like, cholecystectomy, appendicectomy, adhesiolysis, repairs of inguinal, umbilical and incisional hernias, and achalasia cardia.
 
He has undergone training at various places in India and abroad by taking voluntary observership, attending workshops, conferences and hands-on-training sessions. He has interacted with many experts in his field and performed many cases over the years to develop a skillful hand in laparoscopic surgery and endoscopy as well as general surgery. He has 21 years of experience in the surgical field which has made him proficient in his subject.
 
Dr. Dinesh Jain believes in ethical surgical practice and avoids doing unnecessary surgeries. Hecounsels the patient pre-operatively and gives good post-operative care. He regards the safety of the patient to be of utmost importance and follows all the safe surgical practices during all the operations.
 
He is enthusiastic about learning new skills and keeps himself updated to latest trends in technology in surgery. He personally owns latest equipment used for endoscopy and Laparoscopic and general surgery.
 
Dr. Jain is panel consultant in Poona Hospital and all major hospitals in Pune where cashless facilities are available for his patients.
 
He was invited as a faculty at World Congress on Coloprocology 2014 and chaired a session on New Frontiers in Management of Haemorrhoids at Nagpur (Jan 2014)
